Soothing Garden Waterfalls
A waterfall draws attention in any garden. Most people plan their garden landscape design around the structure of the waterfall. Garden waterfalls can range from small to large, offering everything from a trickle to a consistent flow of water. Garden waterfalls are used mainly for two reasons: highlight a particular garden and become the main focal point, or be a standalone piece. Many people confuse garden waterfalls with fountains. Fountains are usually created by a pump that pushes water in an upward or outward movement, creating a trickle-down effect. A waterfall can also be created with a pump, but the water flows rather than shoots out or up. Some waterfalls are natural and are created from springs and natural water reserves.
